Resident Teacher, International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon
Anger, fear, and loss are some of the most challenging experiences we face in life. When these emotions arise, they can easily overwhelm us, strain our relationships, and disturb our inner peace.
In this talk, Gen Kelsang Demo will guide participants through practical Buddhist methods for working skillfully with these difficult states of mind. Drawing from Buddhist mind training, we will learn how to recognize the mental habits that intensify suffering and how to cultivate healthier, more constructive responses.
Through clear explanations, guided reflection, and simple contemplative practices, this workshop will help us develop greater emotional resilience, compassion, and inner stability — even in the midst of life’s uncertainties.
This talk is suitable for everyone. No prior experience with Buddhism or meditation is required.
