About The Event

A Meaningful Life

What is it that you wish to accomplish with your human life? How is it possible to accomplish a really meaningful life? In this 4-week series, we will explore questions and wisdom-based answers on how to navigate our life in a happier and more meaningful way. Looking at our sublime opportunity as humans to change in a positive way through refocusing our attention on meaningful objects.

This series is taught by Gen Kelsang Chokyi, Resident Teacher at KMC Blooomington, and is based on Geshe Kelsang Gyatso's book "Eight Steps to Happiness”.

The class consists of two meditations, a talk on the benefits and healing nature of patience as well as some practical advice on how to integrate acceptance into daily life. Everyone is welcome — no meditation expereince is necessary.

This class is now live via Zoom with an option to watch within 24 hours.
