The Joy of Meditation Workshop

Perhaps we may think that we can't meditate because our mind is too busy or life is too full. This is a mistaken perspective — everyone can meditate!
In this workshop, Wes will share six tips for a successful meditation practice to reduce stress, worry and feeling overwhelmed. Additionally, he will focus on how to meditate, the benefits of meditation and a daily meditation practice.
The workshop is suitable for all meditation levels, including beginners. It includes teachings, guided meditations as well as a Q&A in the last session. Everyone is welcome! Registration is below.

Wes Steele has been a student of Kadam Dharma for many years, and is known for his practical and kind- hearted approach to teaching Buddhism and meditation.
BOOKS & CDs
This retreat will be using the book How to Transform Your Life by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche as well as Meditations for Relaxation guided meditations. It's not required to have your own copy, but some people like to have them on hand during the event or read more afterward. You can purchase books in our Bookstore & Shop on Mondays 11am-1pm, Tuesdays - Fridays from 11am-1pm and 4-6pm as well as Saturdays - Sundays from 9:30am-1pm.
