Overcoming Self-Criticism & Discouragement

SAT, Oct 30 | 10am - 1pm

with Gen Kelsang Chokyi

We sometimes set up an all or nothing approach to success, feeling if we are not able do something perfectly then we are a failure. This is a mind-set, that can lead to excessive self-criticism and discouragement, which blocks our capacity for learning and authentic spiritual growth. Explore methods to overcome this limited perspective in this workshop.

This can be practiced by anyone, regardless of background and belief.  Absolutely everyone is welcome; no previous meditation experience is needed.

10:00 - 11:00am — Session 1

11:15am - 12:00pm — Session 2

12:15 - 1:00pm — Session 3

Gen Kelsang Chokyi is the Resident Teacher at KMC Bloomington and an American nun.
