In this half-day retreat we will learn simple meditation techniques that help us become more focused, calm, and peaceful. This retreat Includes guided meditations, and practical advice on how to maintain the experience of inner peace in daily life.

This retreat will explore:

2. becoming aware of our mind sets and cultivating positive states of mind
3. how to gain more focus and peace in daily life

Join us for a half-day retreat with special guest teacher Gen Kelsang Demo, the Midwestern US National Spiritual Director and the Resident Teacher here at Kadampa Meditation Center DC. She has been a student and disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 20 years and has been teaching for 18 years.

Suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike. Everyone can benefit from these timeless teachings that are practical and modern. Everyone is welcome!
