Healing the Past
SAT, Nov 18
with Special Guest Teacher
Gen Kelsang Demo
Navigating painful memories can be challenging, because we feel stuck in the past. Gen Kelsang Demo will explore how we can identify painful times in our life without identifying ourselves as these emotions. In this retreat, you will be guided through gentle, yet powerful meditations to release yourself from the past and experience the peace that comes from using wisdom to heal.
Gen Kelsang Demo is the Midwestern US National Spiritual Director and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Washington DC. She has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 20 years and has been teaching Kadampa Buddhism since 1998. She is deeply respected as a teacher and practitioner. She demonstrates a wealth of practical knowledge and provides clear and inspiring teachings for people of all levels of interest.
