We tend to be hard on ourselves. We undermine our ability to be happy. And, we believe in our self defeating narrative and think it's the truth.“Our problems do not exist outside our mind. The real nature of our problems is our unpleasant feelings, which are part of our mind.”

The root of distress, negative and self defeating states of mind are delusions. Gen Chokyi will explore how to recognize these inner foes, and replace them with wisdom to generate accepting and inspiring perspectives.

During this retreat, Gen Chokyi will focus on recognizing how our delusions such as uncontrolled desire sets an unrealistic expectation of ourself, our relationships and our lives. If we can recognize this limiting perspective through the lens of wisdom it has no power to undermine or defeat us.

Everyone is welcome to come to this retreat; no meditation experience is necessary. What happens in three sessions are guided meditations to calm, short talks to inspire, guided meditations to transform and time for Q&A.
