Resident Teacher

Meditation 101 retreat is an entry class to begin a daily meditation practice. Although you have heard about meditation and checked out some apps and podcasts about it, you may still be uncertain about your ability to meditate. Perhaps, you think that you can never be one of those people who can quiet or settle their minds. Although meditation sounds like a good idea, you aren’t clear about it.
Join Gen Kelsang Chokyi, American Buddhist nun and Resident Teacher at KMC Bloomington, to explore what exactly is meditation? Why do I need to meditate? And, how can I integrate meditation into my busy schedule?
Everyone is welcome to come to this retreat; no meditation experience is necessary.
