Let Go of bad Habits Morning Retreat

It is easy to feel stuck, and our habits can be deeply ingrained. However, we definitely can make changes to how we think, speak, and act to become the person we wish to be.
We need two things to change: a clear, positive vision of our potential and
reliable methods to actualize this potential. Within Buddhist psychology, we find teachings that will give us the confidence to change using centuries old mind training techniques that give us the practical tools to bring authentic and lasting change to fruition.
The retreat is suitable for all meditation levels, including beginners. It includes guided meditations, short teachings as well as a Q&A in the last session. Everyone can benefit from this retreat — you don't have to be Buddhist to participate.

ABOUT the TEACHER
As a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, Gen Kelsang Chokyi has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism for 19 years and is an American Buddhist nun. She is the Resident Teacher at KMC Bloomington. With joy, wisdom and experience, she illuminates how we can integrate Buddha's teachings into daily life.
BOOK for the RETREAT
This retreat will be using the books How to Understand the Mind & How to Transform Your Life by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. It's not required to have this book, but some people like to have it on hand during the retreat or to follow up with it.
