Healing the Past Meditation Retreat
Saturday, November 16 | 10am - 1pm
When we aren’t feeling well, we usually go to a doctor to get medicine to heal. Effective medicine for healing painful memories are Buddhist meditations on love. Through Buddha’s timeless and profound wisdom, he shared how to balance our minds and recognize other’s happiness and freedom from suffering matters too. When we shift from self to others with equanimity, we can begin to heal the past.
In this retreat, we will explore:
> Discovering a profound equality of ourself and others
> What obstructs our ability to heal
> The sublime, healing benefits of training in cherishing love
The retreat is suitable for all meditation levels, including beginners. It includes guided meditations, short teachings as well as Q&A in the last session. Everyone can benefit from this retreat — you don't have to be Buddhist to participate.
