How Do Generation Stage & Completion Stage Work Together?

In this class, we will look at how the Highest Yoga Tantra practices of generation stage and completion stage work together.
According to Geshe Kelsang Gyatso in Modern Buddhism, “Generation stage is like drawing the basic outline of a picture and completion stage is like completing the picture. Whereas the principal objects of generation stage meditation – the mandala and Deities – are generated by correct imagination, the principal objects of completion stage meditation – the channels, drops and winds – already exist within our body and there is no need to generate them through the power of imagination.”
To join this class you must have received a Highest Yoga Tantra Empowerment of have a wish to attend either the International Summer Festival 2021 or International Fall Festival 2021 (please see more details below).

ABOUT THE CLASS
In his Sutra teachings, Buddha gives us great encouragement to accomplish the ultimate goal of human life — enlightenment. It through the practice of Tantra that we can accomplish this aspiration quickly.
Tantra, also known as ‘Secret Mantra’ or ‘Vajrayana’, is a special method to purify our world, our self, our enjoyments and our activities; and if we put this method into practice we shall very quickly attain enlightenment.
In this Friday series, we will explore this precious mind of Tantra. Understanding how we can weave Sutra and Tantra into our daily lives and experience a blissful mind.
