Skillfully Navigating Relationships
Saturday Silent Retreat
SAT, Feb 24
10am - 1pm
with Gen Kelsang Chokyi, Resident Teacher
Within silence, we can discover deeper aspects of wisdom using the ancient teachings from Buddha to integrate into our modern lives.
Navigating relationships, particularly close ones may be difficult. We may feel afraid, resentful or have hardened our hearts to a place where it feels impossible to change and love. However, by shifting our perspective from self to others, we can pacify our fear, resentment and hardened heart to navigate skillfully our love for others.
Within this silent guided meditation retreat, join Gen Kelsang Chokyi to discover a place of refuge that allows you to move beyond limited perceptions of yourself and others and connect with a fearless capacity to love.
10:00 - 11:30am — Session 1
11:45am - 1pm — Session 2
As a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Gen Kelsang Chokyi has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism for 19 years and is an ordained American Buddhist nun. She is the Resident Teacher at KMC Bloomington. With joy, wisdom, and experience, she shows how everyone can easily integrate Buddha’s teachings into daily life.
