Everyone can feel the difference from taking time to be silent. During this short retreat, unplug for a few hours to engage in the simple, yet profound practice of the four immeasurables. 


How many people can you love? When do you stop caring for others suffering? How much joy can your heart hold? In this silent retreat guided by Gen Kelsang Wangden, he will explore more deeply the profundity and power of the four immeasurables:

May everyone be happy, 

May everyone be free from misery,  

May no one ever be separated from their happiness, 

May everyone have equanimity, free from hatred and attachment.


Gen Wangden will provide the space needed in meditation to allow your mind to connect to a limitless potential residing within you. Everyone is welcome, no meditation experience is necessary.


Gen Kelsang Wangden is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Indianapolis. He is an American Buddhist monk who is known for his kind heart, joyful nature, and practical advice.

Everyone is welcome to come to this retreat; no meditation experience is necessary.



10:00 - 11:00am — Session 1

11:15am - 12:00pm — Session 2

12:15 - 1:00pm — Session 3


This retreat will be using the book The New Eight Steps to Happiness by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. If you wish, you can purchase the book at our Bookstore & Shop. 

You can register for the mini meditation retreat or pay at the door.
