CHOOSING KINDNESS, FINDING HARMONY
Tuesdays 6:30 – 7:45pm | with Resident Teacher Gen Tsoglam
Imagine having harmony and joy in all your interactions with others, then create the causes to experience exactly that. In Buddha's timeless wisdom we find simple methods to change our usual tendencies for irritation and anger with certain people, and replace them with constructive views and intentions. Learn how to choose kindness in any situation and find harmony in all your relationships.
Classes include guided meditation, a talk based on practical wisdom for daily life, and Q&A. No experience is needed. Chairs and cushions are provided. Everyone is welcome!

Our Resident Teacher is Kadampa Buddhist nun Gen Tsoglam. She has been practicing, and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for many years under the guidance of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. Her teachings are heartfelt, practical, and presented with warmth and humor, making them accessible to everyone.

Sunday Morning Meditation: 10:30 - 11:30 am
Suitable for everyone, these weekly drop-in classes offer practical methods to improve the quality of our lives through meditation and Buddhist teachings. Classes include guided meditation and a talk. No previous experience is needed. Cushions and chairs are provided. The class is followed by refreshments in our community room. Cost: $10 | $5 students | FREE for Monthly Members
Lunchtime Meditation: Wednesday: 12:15 - 12:45 pm
Take 30 minutes in the middle of the day to connect to your heart, cultivate inner peace and clarify your intention for the day. Each class includes guided meditation and a brief teaching. Everyone is welcome. No previous experience is necessary.

Select Saturdays: Meditation for Teens & Tweens
Just like everyone, young people can benefit from the inner strength and emotional well-being that come from the tool of meditation. In addition to meditation, this class will offer special ways of thinking and insights into keeping a happy mind in any and every situation. Next class: January - check back for date.
Monday - Friday afternoons: Heart Jewel Prayers with Meditation
This practice is the heart essence of Kadampa Buddhism and is a condensed Guru yoga of Je Tsongkhapa combined with the practice of his Dharma Protector. Includes 15 minutes of silent meditation.
8th of the month: Tara Prayers
Tara is a female Buddha, whose name means “Rescuer. She is the embodiment of swift compassion. If we rely upon Tara sincerely and with strong faith, she will protect us from all obstacles and fulfill all our wishes. Tara’s chanted prayer practice is called Liberation from Sorrow.
Select Days: Wishfulfilling Jewel Prayers with Tsog Offerings
