Free Public Talk: What is Meditation? Sunday, 11 June, 3:30 – 4:45 pm at the Monroe County Public Library Auditorium, 303 E. Kirkwood Avenue, Bloomington, Indiana

Meditation is a method for acquainting our mind with peace and positivity. The more familiar our mind is with meditation, the calmer and happier it becomes. When our mind is peaceful we are free from worries and mental discomfort, and we experience true happiness. If we train our mind in meditation we can maintain a positive and constructive attitude, even in the most adverse conditions.

In this free public talk, we will learn some basic meditation techniques and how they work. We will engage in guided meditations to experience for ourself the benefits of even simple meditation practice.
