Simply Meditate

with Buddhist teacher Thomas Mitchell

Mondays • 6:00 – 6:45 pm

Join us for a relaxing guided meditation. Each week we will cover different topics ranging from the development of compassion to improving our mindfulness and concentration. These meditations are suitable for all levels of experience. Each class will consist of a practical 15 minute teaching and two guided meditations. Everyone is welcome!

Lunchtime Meditation

with Modern Buddhist monk Kelsang Zamling

Wednesdays • 12:15 -12:45 pm

Take 30 minutes in the middle of the day to connect to your heart, cultivate inner peace and clarify your intention for the day. Each class will include guided meditation and a teaching. Everyone is welcome to attend these guided meditations. No previous experience is necessary.

 After Work Meditation

with Modern Buddhist monk Kelsang Zamling

Wednesdays • 5:45 – 6:15 pm

Take 30 minutes after work to let go of stress, develop some mental peace and happiness, and gain a fresh perspective of the day.  This short session includes guided meditation and a brief thought for the day.  Everyone is welcome to attend, and no previous experience is necessary.  Just show up.

Discovering Peace Within: August 23 and 30

Wednesdays • 7:00 – 8:00 pm

Normally we tend to look for happiness outside of ourself, but this invariably leaves us feeling unsettled, distracted, and dissatisfied.  However in this brief 2-part series, we will discover that simply by controlling our mind through meditation we can experience a lasting, genuine source of peace and happiness from within our own mind.

Learn how to find the happy life we long for, by improving our mind through meditation – changing our attitude from negative to positive. This weekly class includes two guided meditations and practical advice for daily life.

Learn how to gradually develop and maintain a peaceful state of mind and create happiness for yourself and others all the time.
